About the author:

Tobin Sprout was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. He studied Graphic Design and Illustration at Ohio University and continued on as a freelance illustrator, worked for SEE Magazine in Florida, and in 1988 was featured artist in his own show at the Jan Hodgell Gallery, and has since held shows in galleries across the country.

Tobin's art graces the halls of many prestigious businesses including AT&T, Budweiser, CompuServe, the Cincinnati Zoo, Ford Motor Company, MCI, WorldCom, Random House, Universal Studios, and many, many more.

Tobin is also a musician and songwriter, and was a longtime member of the band Guided by Voices back in the 90s.

He now makes his home in Northern Michigan with his wife, Laura, and their two children, Turner and Martha.
